Trip #50

We spent five nights at LL Stub Stewart beginning on April 28. We had done a few upgrades to our trailer and needed to try them out in a real life camping situation. The upgrades include: an Epoch 300ah lithium battery, WFCO Auto Detect convertor/charger , Husky Brute Tongue jack, and Husky heavy duty stabilizers. I also needed to see if I really fixed the leaking shower drain.

Results: Tongue jack and stabilizers worked great. The battery started at 37% and topped out at 98% within the first 24 hours (which means the convertor is working.)

The tub drain leak was mostly fixed (which means it wasn’t fixed).

This was our 50th trip in this trailer (522 nights). The main purpose of this excursion was to make sure everything is order for a longer trip in June. We still had time for a bike ride and a trip to town for Mexican food.

Our favorite Restaurant (La Cabana) is apparently closed on Wednesdays. Instead, we visited El Amigo. This is a great food cart behind the Black Iron Grill. Try “The Boss” burrito.

..obviously, the Scrabble game did not go well for me.
