We spent eight nights near Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico to celebrate the rededication of wedding vows of friends. We stayed at the very nice Soleare Hotel Boutique en Playa Miramar, except for one night that we spent at a ‘slightly less than very nice’ hotel after being stranded downtown because of a torrential downpour.
If you go to Tampico and want to stay at the beach, stay at the Soleare. If you need to be downtown, The HS Hotsson looked nice.
For dinner, try El Lindero Universidad. For lunch, get a torta at Tortas de la Barda Rene y su hijo Cepillin.
