This park is near Florence, OR and should not be confused with the Washburne Park in Eugene, OR that is named for the same family.

This is one of our favorite parks. It is just north of the Heceta Head Lighthouse and the Hobbit Trail. It is also just 14 miles north of Florence, OR where you can find all services including urgent medical care (ask me how I know).

Our new favorite restaurant in this area is the Waterfront Depot (reservations suggested). For a more casual dinner, try the Homegrown Public House at  294 Laurel St. in Florence.
