16 miles south of Astoria and 9 miles north of Cannon Beach, Seaside is known as a family friendly beach town. It is also only 90 minutes from Portland. In my opinion, it is not a great place for camping, but if you are nearby it has some cool restaurants.
Our new favorite here is Sisu. A former movie theater converted to a brew pub. We’ve been told they still show an occasional movie. 133 Broadway St.
